Flight range of the particulate in a laser-plasma generated soft X-ray chamber
Some closed expressions for the flight ranges of the spherical particle ejected from a laser-produced plasma target in buffer gas are given as a function of its initial velocity, diameter, and some parameters of the properties for gas and particle material. It is shown that when estimating the range...

Summary: | Some closed expressions for the flight ranges of the spherical particle ejected from a laser-produced plasma target in buffer gas are given as a function of its initial velocity, diameter, and some parameters of the properties for gas and particle material. It is shown that when estimating the ranges of the particulates generated from the laser target, the decline of viscosity with the decrease of the gas pressure has to be considered. |
