Efficiency of Monofunctional Reactive Dyeing : A Mathematical Analysis

We present a mathematical model for the diffusion-reaction process, describing the dyeing of textile fibers with monofunctional reactive dyes. In particular, we have studied the behavior of the fixation efficiency for various dyeing conditions.
