Description
Summary:It is shown that upon cold rolling the deformation of an Fe-3% Si-0.5% Cu single crystal with a (110)[001] orientation occurs, along with slip, by twinning in the (112) and (11 ) . systems. Upon a reorientation of the crystal lattice due to the operation of the slip system (112) , the twins of the (112) type occupy a regular position in the octahedral matrix (111) , retaining a special misorientation Σ3 with the matrix in the entire process of deformation. The twinning system (11 ) occupies an irregular position in the (111) , matrix, but also proves to be in a special misorientation Σ3 with it. A dislocation mechanism is suggested, which makes it possible to explain the retention of the special misorientation and the inclination of the habit plane of twins of both systems of twins.
