Effects of technical and commercial grade phosphamidon on the carbohydrate metabolism in selected tissues of penaeid prawn, Metapenaeus monoceros (Fabricius)

Both technical-grade and commercial grade phosphamidon, an organophosphorus insecticide, reduced oxidative metabolism in the tissues Metapenaeus monoceros and there was a change to anaerobic pathways as an adaptation to combat the effects of the pesticide.
