Summary:During 1978, Thailand's national family planning program increased its efforts to provide family planning services to the greatest number of people and to emphasize a broader approach to family health service delivery. In 1979 the Thai government decided to provide family planning services to couples in refugee camps as part of a general family health campaign in those locations. Program developments, vital rates, contraceptive availability, service statistics, induced abortion rates, and information-education-communication activities are discussed.
