The Learning Cycle as an Alternative Method for College Science Teaching

The learning cycle method is currently being studied as a teaching strategy useful in college science teaching. The method involves three levels: exploration, concept introduction and concept application. Studies show that the method results in increased retention rates for some biological concepts.
