Summary:In time, a change of focus has been observed -- from the general interest tourism, in which the tourist's main interest in the decision making process is selecting a specific destination. The main criterion in selecting a destination is particularly the interest that related to his/her desired experiences and activities. The purpose of this article is to determine the extent to which Arges County can be considered a tourism destination and also for sports tourism, starting from evaluating the image county of Arges, and through the motivation and preferences regarding the practiced/practicable activities within the tourism.
