Cystic Tuberculous Pericarditis

Pathological examination of the excised cystic pericardium revealed caseating granulomatous inflammation with bacilli positive for acid-fast stain (E and F), and a tuberculosis polymerase chain reaction was positive for tuberculous pericarditis.
