Summary: | A study investigated the signaling effects of substrate stimulation of nNos in rat soleus after eccentric exercise. The administration of L arginine prior to eccentric exercise, preventing the degradation of cytoskeletal proteins in m. soleus, leads to an increase in the working capacity of rats and a decrease in the calpain mRNA expression in it. Single eccentric exercise leads to a decrease in the levels of expression of E3 ligases MAFbx and MuRF 1 in the muscle. nNOS is involved in the regulation of protein metabolism during eccentric exercise. |
