Summary: | The behavior of multilayer systems with porous and viscoelastic materials is of utmost importance to noise and vibration control inside vehicles, airplanes and other environments. In this paper, some configurations are analyzed and experimental results of surface impedance and absorption are compared with those obtained by numerical simulations. The influence of some characteristics, such as stiffness, tortuosity and flow resistivity in the performance of porous materials is evaluated. |
