Description
Summary:After somatic fusion between a mitochondrial mutant of Candida utilis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae respiratory competent strain, the complex III of the respiratory chain seems to be restored. Fusion products, FP, synthesizing normal apocytochrome b were recovered and showed normal-shaped mitochondria along the cytoplasm as in the C. utilis original, respiratory-competent strain.
