Undernutrition during early life alters neuropeptide Y distribution along the arcuate/paraventricular pathway

Highlights • Malnutrition during lactation impairs weight gain in rats. • We analyzed NPY distribution in the ARC–PVN pathway. • Malnourished animals presented a delay in ARC–PVN pathway development.
