Trend of human rabies prophylaxis in developing countries: Toward optimal rabies immunization

Highlights • Pre-exposure prophylaxis could be used in Expanded Program on Immunization. • Three promising 1-week pre-exposure regimens are included in this review. • The intradermal regimen (4-4-4) one week induced could be a new standard post-exposure regimen.
