Description
Summary:A controlled trial of applying 2 organosilane-based products with antimicrobial properties to high-touch surfaces was conducted in 9 patient rooms. Cultures of surfaces obtained before daily cleaning with a quaternary ammonium disinfectant showed no significant residual antimicrobial activity of the organosilane products, although a modest reduction could not be excluded.
