Summary:Previously known only from collections by E. Almquist in 1879 on the Vega Expedition, Staurothele discedens (Nyl.) Zahlbr. and Gyalidea lecideopsis var. convarians (Nyl.) Vezda are reported from new localities in northern Alaska. Polyblastia cucurbitula sp. nov., sometimes associated with them, occurs also in Alaska, British Columbia, and Yukon.
