Summary: | Three new metal complexes, [Pb(dppz)(2,4a2-bpdc)] n ADTn(H2O) (1), [Fe(dppz)(2,4a2-bpdc)(H2O)] n (2) and [Cu(dppz)(2,4a2-bpdc)(H2O)] n (3) (2,4a2-H2bpdc = 2,4a2-biphenyldicarboxylic acid and dppz = dipyrido[3,2-a:2a2,3a2-c]phenazine), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, X-ray single-crystal diffraction and powder X-ray diffraction. The complexes 1, 2 and 3 have 1D chains formed via coordination bonds, and unique three-dimensional or two-dimensional supramolecular structures are further formed due to IaI stacking interactions. The results reveal that the coordination preferences of metal ions play a critical role in the framework construction of these complexes. Meanwhile, the thermogravimetric analysis and photoluminescent property of compounds 1a3 have also been investigated. |
