Wax Dispersant Additives for Improving the Low Temperature Flow Behavior of Waxy Crude Oil
In the present article, seven polymeric additives poly (n-alkyl recinoleate-co-N-hexadecylmaleimide) were synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, 1 H-NMR, and 13 C-NMR. The molecular weights of the prepared copolymers were determined by gel permeation chromatography. The efficiencies of the prepared...

Summary: | In the present article, seven polymeric additives poly (n-alkyl recinoleate-co-N-hexadecylmaleimide) were synthesized and characterized by FT-IR,
1
H-NMR, and
13
C-NMR. The molecular weights of the prepared copolymers were determined by gel permeation chromatography. The efficiencies of the prepared compounds as pour point depressants and flow improvers were investigated. Results reveal that most of them have high potency to reduce the pour point of waxy oil to a great extent. |
