Summary: | ABSTRACTAlthough some histological features of solitary fibrous tumor are related to its aggressive behavior, tumors with benign features may also follow an aggressive behavior. An 18-year-old male patient was referred after the detection of multiple bilateral pulmonary lesions on a chest x-ray in a health examination 2 months ago. These lesions showed inhomogeneous enhancement on enhanced CT and intense FDG uptake (SUVmax, 21.8) on PET/CT. CT-guided biopsy revealed histologically benign solitary fibrous tumor. |
