Summary:I started and stopped this essay four times, trying to find the right words to describe my experience at the Stony Point Summer Institute. Its five weeks were physically challenging, emotionally stimulating, and spiritually transformative. Finally I decided the best way would be to return to the words of the Institute itself. At the very beginning we were each given a beautiful blank journal, and over the course of our program we filled it with poetry, drawings, quotes, reflections, and more.
