Biochemical and pharmacological characterization of the binding of the selective peptide-leukotriene antagonist, super(3)H-ICI 198,615, to leukotriene D sub(4) receptors in guinea-pig lung membranes

The purpose of this study was to use the recently radiolabeled, selective, potent, and stable LT antagonist, super(3)H-ICI 198,615, to study LTD sub(4) receptors in guinea-pig lung membranes (GPLM). This communication describes for the first time the existence of two binding sites for the labeled an...

Description
Summary:The purpose of this study was to use the recently radiolabeled, selective, potent, and stable LT antagonist, super(3)H-ICI 198,615, to study LTD sub(4) receptors in guinea-pig lung membranes (GPLM). This communication describes for the first time the existence of two binding sites for the labeled antagonist that pharmacologically correlates to the LTD sub(4) receptors in this tissue.
