Description
Summary:A phenological inversion in Thalassia testudinum Banks ex König was indicated by the presence of early fruit stage in midwinter. Further observations in Januarary 1979 detected early reproductive bud presence, and 44% of the short-shoots examined were reproductive. These observation add new information on this species' reproductive biology and indicate that caution should be applied when describing. T. tesdudinum as a short-, intermediate- or long-day plant.
