Carboxyalkyl dipeptides with atrial natriuretic factor potentiating and antihypertensive activity

Recent reports demonstrating the ability of neutral endopeptidase (NEP) (EC 3.4.24.11) to inactivate ANF in vitro prompt the authors to report their work on NEP inhibitors that potentiate the hypotensive activity of exogenous ANF and express antihypertensive activity.
