Summary:Abstract Presently, patients with human immunodeficiency virus infection are living longer and are frequently encountered in medical practice. HIV infection is a systemic disease, which affects a wide spectrum of organs. Cardiac involvement is frequent, and the consequent clinical manifestations are a common reason to seek medical advice. in this review, we discuss the different cardiac sequelae of HIV infection.
