EFFECT OF ALUMINIUM TOXICITY ON ROOT MORPHOLOGY OF BARLEY
Light- and electronmicroscopic investigations were carried out in order to find the differences, in order to explain the differential Al tolerance of two barley varieties, Kearney (Al-sensitive) and Dayton (Al-tolerant). The plants were exposed to 9 ppm Al in an acidified nutrient solution.
