Taxonomic differences in some sensory structures of the Tingidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera)
Nodules and sensory pits on the abdominal tergites of nine tingid species vary at the levels of subfamily, tribe, genus, subgenus, and species. Variation consists of differences in presence, size, degree of clustering, and distribution, both on different tergites and between sexes.
