Summary: | Investigations were carried out to evaluate the influence of solution composition, hydrodynamic and heat engineering parameters upon intensity of calcium sulfate dehydrate scale formation in distillation plants and on the restrictive stage of the process. The effect of inhibitors upon mass transfer coefficients during the calcium sulfate dehydrate scale formation was investigated. The calcium sulfate dehydrate scale restriction by means of inhibitors and seed crystals was estimated. Data obtained were used for development of the calcium sulfate dehyrate scaling limiting system in the Aral Sea water distillation plant with horizontal tube film evaporators. |
