Summary:Two binuclear Dy super(III) complexes of the general formulas [Dy sub(2)(H sub(2)L super(1)) sub(3)].3NO sub(3).EtOH.H sub(2)O and [Dy sub(2)(H sub(2)L super(2)) sub(3)].3NO sub(3).2EtOH.4H sub(2)O [H sub(3)L super(1) and H sub(3)L super(2) are 2,4-diformyl-4-fluorophenol bis(benzoylhydrazone) and 2,4-diformyl-4-metoxyphenol bis(4-methylbenzoylhydrazone), respectively] have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis and low-temperature magnetic measurements.
