Nucleotide sequence of a new HLA-DRB111 allele (DRB11124)

Within the framework of a German HLA class I/II proficiency typing, a person of Caucasian origin with a new DRB1*11 allele was found. Serological HLA class I typing revealed the presence of the A32, A69, B7, B63, Cw7 antigens. Nucleotide sequence analysis of HLA class II disclosed DRB1*0101, *11new,...

Description
Summary:Within the framework of a German HLA class I/II proficiency typing, a person of Caucasian origin with a new DRB1*11 allele was found. Serological HLA class I typing revealed the presence of the A32, A69, B7, B63, Cw7 antigens. Nucleotide sequence analysis of HLA class II disclosed DRB1*0101, *11new, DRB3*0202, DQB1*0301, *0501, and DPB1*0401, *0402. The new DRB1*11 allele was identified by sequencing of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) product of the DRB1 exon 2 loci.
