Description
Summary:The objective of this study was to determine if colonial Ospreys (Pandion haliaetus ) fledged more young than those nesting solitarily and, furthermore, to test whether this was related to colonial nesting alone rather than to nesting habitats or types of nest sites. We studied Ospreys in northeastern Nova Scotia primarily within the Pomquet, Antigonish, and Pictou Harbour watersheds.
