Summary: | Use of waters with high levels of electric al conductivity, commonly found at the end of the any period, there are serious risks of salinity of the soils to be irrigated, with damage, for the crops. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of saline water irrigation on acclimatization of seedlings, growth, development and production of six genotypes of heliconia. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse, city of Campina Grande-PB. The survey was conducted in two phases, the first using six levels of conductivity of irrigation water EC w (0.3, 0.8, 1.3, 1.8, 2.3 and 2.8 dS m-1 ) and six genotypes of heliconia, composing a factorial design (6 x 6). For the second step was observed, three levels (EC w of 0.8, 1.8, and 2.8 dS m-1 ) in two types of formations of seedlings of six genotypes composing heliconias triple factorial (3 x 2 x 6), both in experimental design if the block with three replications. On growth variables of the first stage, the genotype Latispatha midsize Rostrata genotype was more and the small Golden Torch Nickeriensis, and Sassy Red Opol no significant difference between them. Among the variables of growth in the second stage, the best genotype that was developed Nickeriensis and those least developed in the variable number of leaves was the genotype Latispatha, plant height and Sassy pseudostem diameter were genotype rostrata and Latispatha. |
