Summary: | 3-KetoacylCoA thiolase from yeast
Saccharomyces cerevisiae was crystallized at low ionic strength using a micro-dialysis crystallization method. The rate of dialysis was important for obtaining well diffracting crystals. Therefore a polycrylamide gel plug was used as the dialysis membrane. The optimal rate of dialysis was found by varying the height of the polyacrylamide plug. |
