Ultraviolet Light from the Nighttime Sky Enhances Retinal Sensitivity of Limulus
Stimulation of the median ocelli of the horseshoe crab, Limulus polyphemus, by ultraviolet light from the nighttime sky is investigated to see if it enhances the sensitivity of the lateral eyes to visible light.
