Description
Summary:A spray pyrolysis technique was used to deposit the silver doped tin sulfide (SnS:Ag) thin films on glass substrates at the substrate temperature of 350°C. The variation in structural, optical and electrical properties of SnS with silver incorporation was investigated. The XRD spectra showed the improvement in crystallinity while increasing the doping concentration of Ag. The lower electrical resistivity of 8.63×10−1Ωcm and the optical band gap of 1.33eV were obtained at 8at% of Ag. •Physical properties of Ag doped SnS lattice have been investigated.•The crystallite size increases from 97nm to 115nm due to silver doping.•Band gap values varied from 1.58 to 1.33eV as increase in doping concentration.
