Description
Summary:D.‐g. Cheng, J. L. Gong, and co‐workers describe a simple and general one‐step method to combine crystalline zeolite micropores in an ordered mesopore network via cooperative assembly. On page 4249, they use Na+ and OH‐ as promoters, which enhance the cooperative assembly of an ordinary organic cation surfactant and a zeolite structure‐directing agent with aluminosilicate precursors. Their hydrothermal synthesis produces a periodic mesoporous aluminosilicate molecular sieve with mesopore walls composed of a crystalline zeolite framework.
