Summary: | Chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy KhN65MVU is used in chemical engineering for manufacturing equipment and pipelines operating at high temperature in highly corrosive conditions. Tests for ICC resistance show that after heat treatment by a standard regime and subsequent stimulation heating of an alloy KhN65MVU billet, not subjected to welding, it is inclined towards intercrystalline corrosion. Work is carried out to study the effect of different heat treatment regimes for alloy KhN65MVU on tendency towards intercrystalline corrosion, on whose basis an optimum regime is selected for providing corrosion resistance. |
