Summary: | Problems associated with the use of diatomaceous earth in the formulation and production of fuel pellets based on plant wastes are examined. A procedure for production of unfired silica gravel based on contaminated diatomaceous earth is described. Mixes are investigated for production of fuel pellets and their combustion kinetics. A rotary granulator with a flat die of improved design is recommended as principal equipment for production of the fuel pellets. |
