BDNF mediated activity dependent maturation of visual Wulst following prenatal repetitive auditory stimulation at a critical developmental period in domestic chicks ( Gallus domesticus )

Highlights • In visual Wulst, BDNF & all neurotransmitters increased significantly only in SGB & SGC. • Hemispheric asymmetry observed in BDNF expression &neurotransmitters levels. • In VEPs, SGB & SGC had lowest latencies and highest amplitudes.
