Summary: | The possibility of direct X-ray fluorescence determination of Pt and Rh in used cordierite-based autocatalysts by crushing them into powder and introducing liquid additives was investigated. Optimal conditions of the sample pretreatment and analysis were established, and the Pt and Rh contents, relative standard deviations, and confidence intervals in the range of Pt content from 0.01 to 0.20 wt % and Rh from 0.005 to 0.06 wt % were determined. |
