Allergic contact dermatitis to cocamidopropylbetaine in hair shampoo

SUMMARY Allergic contact dermatitis to shampoo is rare. Report of a patient with widespread dermatitis caused by contact allergy to Kathon CG® and cocamidopropy lbetaine in shampoo used is presented.
