Description
Summary:The dispersion relations of staggered arranged metal nanowire arrays are numerically investigated. It is demonstrated that the structure can support the propagation of plasmon modes with zero and negative group velocities derived directly from the dispersion curves, apart from normal plasmon modes with positive group velocities. Furthermore, the effects of the structural parameters on the dispersion behaviors of plasmon modes are also examined.
