P.91: Adobe RGB LCD Monitor with 3 Primary Colors by Deep Green Color Filter Technology
We introduce a novel type of Adobe RGB liquid crystal display (LCD) monitor with pixels composed of red (R), green (G), and blue (B) sub pixels, combined with a typical blue LED chip based white LED backlight. The key is to apply a newly developed deep green colorant to green sub pixel when the tran...

Summary: | We introduce a novel type of Adobe RGB liquid crystal display (LCD) monitor with pixels composed of red (R), green (G), and blue (B) sub pixels, combined with a typical blue LED chip based white LED backlight. The key is to apply a newly developed deep green colorant to green sub pixel when the transmittance decrease of the LCD panels was minimized for product design. As a result, the new technology makes it possible to reproduce the Adobe RGB coverage of 99.9% as well as to realize slim LCD. |
