Summary: | Arthospira sp. is a blue green microalgae constituted by high protein content (55-60%) and is a good source of different vitamins and complexes like pigments with high economical value. The main contaminants (CO sub(2) and H sub(2)S) in biogas produced by anaerobic digestion can be removed by an intensive mass culture of Arthospira sp. At the same time productivities of 26-34 g dry mass/m super(2)-d were reached. |
