► We carried out thermodynamic simulation in the Cr-Si-W-O system in the temperature range of 373-1273 K. ► The method of minimization of the free energy of the system was used (the total pressure was 1 atm). ► We performed the critical analysis of all the thermodynamic data for the compounds in the Cr-Si-W-O systems. ► We chose the condensed phases which had to be taken for thermodynamic modeling. ► Using special programmes we calculated which phases at given relations Cr:Si:W:O are formed.
Thermodynamic modelling in the system Cr–Si–W–O was carried out in order to determine the equilibrium composition of the condensed phases within temperature range 373–1273
K at under the total pressure 1
atm using the method of minimization of the free energy of the system (at fixed temperature and pressure). Within the parameter range under consideration, all condensed phases have been considered which had to be necessarily taken into account. At the given relations between the components of the system, the composition of equilibrium phases for the system Cr–Si–W–O and its subsystems Cr–Si–W–SiO
2, Cr–Si–O, Cr–Si–SiO
2 was determined. |
