Description
Summary:► The scheme of the combined energy analyzer of charged particles is proposed. ► The analyzer is based on a combination of hyperbolic and cylindrical mirrors. ► A combination of mirrors expands functional abilities of the analyzers. ► The analyzer can be used as an energy- and angle-resolved spectrometer. A model of an electrostatic spectrometer for the energy analysis of charged particles has been calculated. The instrument is based on a combination of hyperbolic and cylindrical mirrors. The scheme for an energy- and angle-resolved spectrometer which provides angular second-order focusing, high luminosity and exit angle 90° from the source has been theoretically substantiated.
