Summary: | We proposed and experimentally demonstrated an all-fiber structured programmable optical bandpass filter (waveshaper) based on a linearly chirped fiber Bragg grating and a digital-controlled thermal array. The key parameters of this filter such as the number of transmission channels, passing bandwidth per channel, central wavelength as well as the channel spacing can be reconfigured independently and flexibly by a program-controlled circuit.
