Summary: | Delay and packet delay variation are key parameters for real-time applications and packet-layer synchronisation. This paper demonstrates an Ethernet integrated hybrid network enabling adding packet-traffic to a 10 Gbit/s Ethernet circuit without impacting packet-traffic delay, delay variation or packet loss. A scheduling algorithm increasing the throughput efficiency of integrated hybrid networks is demonstrated. |
