Summary: | Information Security has been a major issue in the world, such that different societies and communities design and develop different forms of cryptosystem in ages which level of security could be tested by perfect secrecy. Àrokò is a non-verbal, symbolic material form of communication and a traditional way of sending information among the Yoru?ba? people formed in the ages before the Colonia era which is growing wane in this age. This paper examines the cultural heritage of the Yoru?ba? people with probability distribution in comparing the concept of Àrokò cryptosystem secrecy in Yoru?ba? tradition to logic of perfect secrecy of Shannon. |
