Description
Summary:The Vienna University of Economics and Business reopened next to the Prater Park last October, consolidating into a single campus its collection of department sites which had hitherto been discreetly scattered throughout Alsergrund, the 19th-century district of the city. In 2008, Wolf Prix presided over a jury that selected six firms, each to design one of the new department buildings. Catling details the planning of the new buildings and the firms that will design them, which include Zaha Hadid Architects, CRAB studio, and Atelier Hitoshi Abe.
