Transformation of Bacillus brevis 47 by electroporation
Bacillus brevis 47 was successfully and reproducibly transformed with pUB110 plasmid DNA by electroporation with an efficiency of 10 super(4) transformants per mu g of DNA. This represents a 10-fold improvement over the chemical transformation method previously used for this organism.
