Adjunctive analgesia with acupuncture for reduction of anterior shoulder dislocation: a pilot study

In this study, we used the acupuncture points traditionally related to structures which stabilize the shoulder joint (subscapularis, supraspinatus, and deltoid tendons), as well as the biceps muscle, in order to test whether stimulation at these points would help with reduction of the anteriorly dislocated shoulder.
